Elodie Lauton originally comes from the region of Montpellier in southern France. Having grown up in a family of musicians, she began to play the piano at the age of four and to compose her own tunes very early. At the age of 17, she graduated from the Regional Conservatory of Strasbourg and continued her studies of classical music by getting a licence in musicology. She discovers jazz and improved music and realises that she has found her way. She studied jazz vocals at the conservatory of music in Basel (Switzerland) with Susanne Abbuehl (ECM) Elodie Lauton writes and composes. She builds her very own world of music with her French lyrics at the center. At the present she is singing with Jasper Van't Hof (piano) in the common project "Goldamour". She will perform a series of concerts with the contrabassist Tibor Elekes and "Montmartre Reloaded" starting in January 2011. In her quintet, the emotions and energy expressed are a result of several years of common work. Elodie Lauton has performed on the stages of the jazz festival of Montreux, Bern, Basel, as well as in France, in Switzerland and in Germany. She teaches vocals at the "Musikwerkstatt Basel", at the "Triangle" (France) and for AFAMA, an organisation for vocal and instrumental workshops in France, Switzerland and Germany.

Jasper van't Hof was born in Enschede, Holland. The child of a jazz trumpeter and a classically trained singer and pianist, his great interest in music became evident at an early age. His parents would have liked to send him to a conservatory, but Jasper preferred to play live. At nineteen he was already participating in various jazz festivals and raking in prizes. He celebrated his first great European success with the band Association P.C. in 1969, along with the Dutch drummer Pierre Courbois and the German guitarist Toto Blanke. "Eighty percent of Association P. C. was electronics", JASPER recalls, and he accordingly soon belonged to the circle of jazz musicians interested in exploring the sound possibilities newly created by the electronic instrumentarium. He played with Charlie Mariano, Philip Catherine,Didier Lockwood, Archie Shepp, Toto Blanke, Steve Swallow, Bob Malach and many more. The year 1984 marked the founding of the Afro-European formation PILI-PILI. Its first album was a major success, above all in the dance and pop scene. PILI-PILI's success has taken van't Hof on eighteen concert tours to date and was also a stepping stone for Angelique Kidjo.
Jasper van't Hof has published his some seventy albums almost exclusively with German record companies. It was not until his fiftieth birthday that major tribute was paid him in Holland for the first time, in the form of the renowned BIRD AWARD.

Felix grew up in Basel and studied piano at the conservatory with Jasper van‘t Hof and Hans Feigenwinter. He obtained his diploma in 2005 and was one of the first students in producing and performance. Although he studied Jazz piano, he‘s considered a specialist for Rock and Pop music and is always looking for new sounds and styles. With his versatilty as a musician and his knowledge of programming and real time sampling, he started working as a keyboarder for numerous groups on stage and in the studio as well as for various musical productions as Saturday Night Fever, Hairspray or We Will Rock you, which he conducted as well. At the same time he began to produce music for films, radio stations and publicities.
He has played rhodes for the French Singer Elodie Lauton for several years and eventually formed the project „Goldamour“ with her. When he spoke to Jasper van‘t Hof about the project, his former mentor was emediately enthusiastic and joined the duo on the spot. Jasper would say about Felix: „He is an extreme example of new coming-up composer-musicians in Europe: a beautiful taste in connection with the intelligent use of electronics at today‘s levels, as well his colour of harmonics and the sensivity of playing the acoustic piano.“
