February 2011
The production of "Terminal B" is coming to an end! This weekend we are going to record the final voice tracks at the Basel City Studios. After a last preproduction session, we're going to go to Vienna! Dietz will mix our CD at the Swoon Factory. Check back at the end of February to get the first samples!
October 2010
All right - our recording session is over, all the basics are done! A big thank you to all the musicians, our sound engineer Karim and the team at the basel city studios. Meanwhile Felix is working on the post-production, re-programmin some loops, cutting new samples, adding some over-dubs - and enjoying the warm sound of the recording and all its details...
There were some nice jam sessions going on as well - get an exclusive sneak preview of "Terminal B", a beautiful moment caught on tape with Felix on the piano and Steve on live electronics. September 2010 Good News! The crew for "Transit" is complete! Paris based drummer Steve Argüelles will join us in October to record the disc!Steve Argüelles is an English jazz drummer, producer and is the boss of the record label Plush. He has also worked in film and theatre. Steve currently resides in Paris, France. He performed with Micky Green, Omar Sosa, Bill Frisell, Nyguen Lê, Charlie Mariano, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Benoît Delbecq, to name just a few. His great experience and musical versatility will be a great input for Goldamour and we're very happy to have him on board for the recordings! August 2010
Three more songs are finished and ready to be recorded! They'll be part of our repertoire for the showcase gig at the Stadtmusikfestival on 29th August in the court of the museum of art Basel and live on 106.6 (in Basel) or on livingroom.fm.
We're happy to anounce that Peter Borföi will join us for this concert as well as for the studio recording in October. Peter played with Electrolux, Mosso, Shabani and the Burning Birds and many others and developped his very own style of bass playing, using effects to create a drum'n'bass sound. July 10
We're on the road in the south of France, writing the last pieces for the album. As I caught a little virus on my laptop, I had to erase all programs and then download some freeware midi recording programs. The workflow slowed down a little... nevertheless we have one new tune ready! We'll put a sample online when we're back home and able to record it correctly - can't wait to get back on Cubase...
We'll do a first showcase gig for a special occasion: Goldamour will play some acoustic versions of the tunes at the Stadtmusik Festival Basel in the court of the Kunstmuseum Basel (museum of art) on the evening of 29th August. The entry is free and the concert (as the whole festival) will be broadcasted live on 106.6 - stop by or tune in! |

We've been very busy promoting the demos and it starts paying out. Final production should take place soon with the crew from the preproduction and an additional bass player. we're going to record in September/ October and will hopefully finish the production by the end of the year. |
|
We're almost done with two more demos, check back soon for some excerpts! We're very happy with the two new songs. We wrote them in one session and so there are very homogenic. Production and programming took a little more time though... Two more songs to go and we have the material ready for the whole cd. |
|
Two new tracks are in production and the demos will soon be available on this site! "Ailleurs" is a beautiful, melancholic ballad and "Closer " (just a working title...) a midtempo track, in which acoustic and electronic merge nicely. Meanwhile we're preparing the studio sessions to turn the preproductions into the definitive recordings! |
|
We are currently working on four more tracks for the complete album after the mixdown of the first preproduction (listen to it here). As "Transit" will be a concept album with a continuing story, we are producing an opening track that leads into the main character's situation. It will begin with an explosive solo by Jasper over fast drumming, programming with bended sounds and a sound design that matches the story. |
