Goldamour is the invitation to a journey - a journey to the very core of our emotions, our passions, our aspirations. This project unites the expressive French vocals of Elodie Lauton, the spirited playing of the famous Dutch pianist Jasper van't Hof (Charlie Mariano, Pili Pili, Didier Lockwood), the bassist Peter Borföi (Mosso, Electrolux), the drummer Steve Argüelles (Omar Sosa, Philippe Katherine, Christophe) and the young and versatile programming of the Swiss producer Felix Graf. At the basis of this project: an astounding mixture of acoustic and electronic music, of Pop, Chanson and Jazz, of a fragile intimacy and wide open spaces. And eventually, the story of a day, of a life.
Early Sunday morning at the airport Basel. A woman sits in the waiting room with today's paper and a cup of bad tasting coffee from the vending machine. Her hair is uncombed, her mascara smudgy and the bag at her feet lightly packed. She takes a sip and lights up another cigarette, then glances at her stand by-ticket and at the screen on the wall. She will finally get out of here or eventually turn back to her broken home and a life she doesn't want to live anymore.
"Terminal B" is the soundtrack of this precise, decisive moment in this woman's life - to the revue of better days passing before her eyes, to the hope of a what good may come and the uncertainty of where this escape may end.
